How I Styled My Vanity (Beauty Room) on a Budget

I’ve always loved having a space that feels pretty, peaceful, and me—especially when I’m getting ready. This little corner of my home is half beauty space, half DIY closet/”cloffice” set-up, and I styled it all on a budget with finds that are both functional and cute (in my opinion, at least!). I’m sharing a bit of how I pulled it all together, including my Hollywood vanity mirror setup, my desk, the makeup organizers (in the drawers), and the little chic + pink decor touches that gave my space all the girly vibes. Everything in this post is linked so you can shop below if you’re building your own space, too!

VANITY MIRROR DETAILS — One of my favorite standout pieces of my vanity area is the Hollywood Vanity Mirror. I found it on Amazon and includes the18 dimmable bulbs in 3 color modes, a magnifying mirror, a bluetooth speaker for music + a USB charging port. I have to be honest though, my bluetooth speaker stopped working after a year. I’ve found that this hasn’t happened to everyone but unfortunately did happen to me! But of course I still love this mirror and use it every single day. It makes doing my makeup fun instead of feeling like a chore (I can be a little lazy with makeup).

DESK + CHAIR DETAILS — The white writing desk has gold accents and has two drawers for makeup or office supplies! I first started using it as an office desk, but found it was a bit too small for everyday work. This desk + the pink velvet chair are from Walmart, but you can also find the exact same desk on Amazon. I will say, it took forever to put together, but ultimately I got it because it was so cute + affordable. The exact pink chair sold out, but there are more options on Amazon.

ORGANIZERS — Inside the two vanity drawers, I used these affordable acrylic drawers organizers to keep my makeup brushes, palettes and products all in place. Since I decided to be an over-achiever, I labeled some of the organizers to section my eyeliners, brow gels, eyeshadows, applicators (etc) and used this tiered makeup tray for my foundations + primers.

After styling this space, it made me so happy that I was able to turn an unused area of the room into my favorite spot in the house! And whether you’re working with a full room or just a small nook in your bedroom, a little creativity and a small budget can still go a long way!
