Ever since I was little, I struggled to maintain the strength of my very thin hair. My hair actually used to have long, kinky curls, until I gave myself a straightener perm in 6th grade…talk about worst decision of my life.
I feel like ever since then, my hair has always been a struggle to grow out, as I’m also prone to hair loss (of course, I know it doesn’t help that I highlight it blonde!). But I do give my hair “breaks” when it comes to highlighting and heat (I towel dry until 80% of my hair is dry), and I constantly use the products that are right for my hair’s growth and restoration. In this post, I wanted to share just a few of the products I use daily to help my hair growth and to keep its shine!
Hair Hydration ↓
Best-Selling Hydrating Argan Oil Hair Mask
Instead of using regular conditioner, I use this hydrating argan oil hair mask as my daily conditioner. For daily use, I apply the mask on the ends / the damaged pieces of my hair. For a deep cleanse, I will use this mask once a week to every 2 weeks, applying to my whole head and letting it sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinsing. This makes my hair look so much healthier after conditioning, even just once. It can be ordered from Amazon or typically any convenience store! It’s also sulfate free and paraben free!
HAIR REPAIR ↓
Olaplex Hair Perfector Repairing Treatment
This hair repairing treatment is a best-seller on Amazon! It has over 67k positive ratings! It’s also paraben-free, vegan, sulfate-free and phthalate-free! Shout out to my girl Emily who bought this for me a while back. I’ve used this stuff a few times now and love how much softer and smoother it makes my hair! Can’t wait to show you guys the results after I get more usage!
Hair Growth ↓
This hair growth serum from DIVI is legit. A little goes a long way, and just from using half of a bottle, I’ve already seen improvement in spots where I was seeing hair loss (pictures to come). I just love this stuff, and it smells so good! I recommend using this serum daily for best results! All you have to do is apply these droplets to the scalp and massage it in! You can also blow dry it afterwards for volume.
My mom introduced this MoroccanOil dry shampoo to me and not only does it smell amazing, but it is great for light colored hair (hence when you buy the “light tones” product), and blends extremely well. It’s less than $30 and has great reviews! The ingredients include nutrients such as argan oil that contains vitamins that are good for your hair, and also uses rice starch, which is a natural absorbent for drawing out excess oil.
I’ve loved my T3 hair tools, and I had to include the T3 hair dryer and the T3 hair straightener in this post because, well, they do help maintain my hair’s shine and body! The hair dryer is known to control heat, and the hair straightener + curling iron is great for shine, reducing frizz, and keeps heat fluctuations in check for consistent heat delivery. You can also get the whole set of 3 (the curling iron, straightener, and hair dryer).
