A major update was in order for the living room area. I really wanted something super simple and clean looking, with a little rustic/chic vibe that could cover up the awkward wall space (see before and afterβs belowβ¦lol). I had been thinking about cube storage being the perfect space-holder and great for organization, and it just so happened that Walmart had the perfect affordable option. These 8-cube storage organizers were only $82 from Walmart! Mine is in the βnatural wood grainβ finish. I also found a similar cube organizer that was also at an afforable price, but instead has wood on the back side as well, so you donβt have to see electrical cords falling behind it.

While we were looking at Walmartβs home decor (which they have apparently majorly upgraded!) I just so happened to find all the items that would match the decor theme I was looking for: I found cute metallic gold & white organizer bins (only $7 each), the 17β ceramic table lamp for only $25 (yes, itβs small but does the job!), and the gold orb for a small statement piece (only $9)!
The rest of the decoration didnβt come together all in one day. I found the 2x3 white shag rug on Amazon, and the 30β circle mirror from Target for about $70 (not a bad deal!). The Framed Canvas Word Art was from Hobby Lobby and I bought it for $15 (when it was 50% off). And the organic pampas grass was from Etsy, and is a bestseller for about $35! I bought 5 pieces for a little more.
As of last weekend, I added the last touch with the blue glass vase with twine, that I bought from Home Goods for $20. Target has similar glass vases that are just as cute. But I should add that Iβm also waiting until I find the perfect matte white vase and may play around with it some more.
In total, my entryway decor turned out to only be $306! Iβm so pleased with it, and can finally move on to finishing up the rest of the living room!
a few final touchesβ¦

Thereβs a few final touches to this side of the room that I wanted to add to complete the boho/farmhouse theme I have going on! Please keep in mind that I am updating you guys as I go, and that this isnβt the complete final product! For example, that office chair is totally not supposed to be there lol. But, it does serve the purpose of being a stand-in until I get an actual lounge chair to complete this little study nook. However, I do love this circular floating shelf that completes this wall so simply. I found it from Amazon here, but itβs currently sold out. Walmart has a very similar one by the same manufacturer, and at a cheaper price here! This has been a major upgrade from the before photo below. Where the circular shelf is now, is where the tapestry below in the picture used to hang. Also, we thankfully got rid ofβor found a new place forβall the canvasβ that were previous hanging up above the couch.
Aside from that, I thought Iβd link a few of these table accents below as well! I found these super cute hexagonal marble coasters from Target for only $13! It comes as a set of 5 and I use them alllll the time. Also sitting on top of my gold + marble side accent table, I love the wood/rustic boho beaded tassels from Amazon (I bought them for only $9!). Also from Amazon, you can find similar artificial eucalyptus stems from Amazon for under $30! Youβll just have to find a vase for them!
And lastly, I added the hanging woven tapestry to fill up a blank space, but also giving it a subtle accent! I found a similar woven tapestry on Amazon for only $15!
