Artificial Lambs Ear Wreath // Quilted Oven Mitt (similar) // Wooden Spoons // “Elements of Style” Book // Letter Sign (similar theme) // Mr. & Mrs. Towel (similar)
I love shopping for my friends, and my favorite type of gifts happen to be DIY baskets, or personalized gifts! This DIY basket was for Clare’s (my best friend) bridal shower! Alongside the basket, I added a 12 pc. glass jar set from her Amazon registry, that wouldn’t fit in the basket!
I tried to keep this under $100! I started with this woven basket from Home Goods, and added paper at the bottom. Then, added an artificial lambs ear wreath for greenery, Eucalyptus leaves also look similar. After that, I added a quilted oven mitt to display these beautiful wooden mixing spoons on Amazon, linked here. To finish off the kitchen side of things, I added the Mr. & Mrs. kitchen towel (I got this one from Marshall’s [not Home Goods, sorry!] but linked similar.) My friend is great with design and style, so I bought her the “Elements of Style” Home & Life Design book. And lastly, the monogram letter “M” for her new last name (linked an Amazon option here) as well as a tiny white candle for the perfect filler finish!
Note: I went for a general home design theme for the basket, but you can keep it simple with a specific theme: kitchen supplies or decor, self-care basket, personalized items, etc.
xo, Avery
