I love the fact that shackets are trending this year! I bought a few of my own as early as last year, but they are on the rise and so many more retailers carry them! If you’re new to the term “shacket”, it’s (apparently) a combination of a shirt jacket — that you can wear as both. Most shackets are found as a corduroy jacket or as a plaid wool blend… at least, those are my favorite that I’ve come across. Oversized is especially my fave!

Below I’m sharing just a few ways I’ve styled the shackets I have in my own closet! I tried to make this post about rounding up the most affordable finds. Although, most shackets are already under $50, but I definitely like to aim for the $30 range for things that are trendy. Above you’ll see I listed some of my favorites from Amazon! You can actually find an “idea list” on my Amazon Storefront, where I have a list of these finds as well. Shop them here.

I plan to keep adding on to this list as I get some new arrivals in. I have a few more Amazon shackets that will be arriving within the next few weeks!

GREEN PLAID SHACKET:

When I posted about this green plaid shacket on my IG stories, it was a huge hit! Amazon also has a super similar version of this shacket with great reviews, linked here. This entire outfit has been a go-to in my winter wardrobe, and I’ll occasionally interchange the jackets and boots.

These lug sole heel boots are also from Amazon, and are super similar to the Dolce Vita heel boots for a fraction of the cost! These boots are in color “nude”, although they have several colors! They’re true to size. My leggings are Pink Lily, being a bit less expensive yet similar to the Spanx faux leather leggings!

I’ve had this plaid shacket for over a year now and still love it! I do have to warn you though, it can get it itchy, and it’s pretty warm. So typically I will wear this as a jacket over a shirt. Especially great for winter time. I ordered a small (TTS) and this one is in color “Wine Red.” If you’re skeptical, there may be better options that I linked above! I personally love it simply because it’s cute, and I love the color. Also, I’d love to speak on these faux leather leggings for a sec! Spanx are always the “go-to” pair, but these leggings I’m wearing from Pink Lily are half the price of Spanx and are great material, and hugs you in all the right places! My taupe knee high boots are from Target in the first pic, and I’m so sad they sold out sooo quickly. Linking another, similar pair from Amazon here. I’m telling you… they look EXACTLY like both of my boots featured above. Please note, the boots are different pairs in both of the pics featured above! My wide brim fedora hat is from Mint Julep and is under $30 in color “light khaki” which comes out as a light brown.

BEIGE CORDUROY SHACKET:

CORDUROY SHACKET // LEVI JEANS // PLATFORM SNEAKERSall from Amazon!

My corduroy jacket is from Forever 21. Amazon also has super similar options with a lot more colors available (at a cheaper price, too!). I talked a little about this shacket in my “Forever 21 + Target Try-On blog post. I always feel like a corduroy jacket is a must! Also, reviews recommend sticking to your normal size! The color closest to this is “A Brown”.

Make sure you check back later to see some more of my most recent arrivals! Have a wonderful week y’all!

xo, Avery
