Blazers have to be one of my favorite capsule wardrobe additions by far. I love styling suit jackets as both casual and dressy. So in today’s blog post, I thought I’d share some of my favorite looks from the past year as we head into spring 2023!
Starting with this first casual look from spending the day in Houston. I love this look because anyone can recreate it using clothes from their own closet. Another bonus is that most of these items were from Amazon and Target… so affordable!
BLACK BLAZER — OUTFIT DETAILS:
BLAZER: Size S— The blazer I’m wearing in this photo is from Target, but unfortunately it’s sold out and no longer available. But.. this blazer from Amazon is super similar, and comes in 9 other colors!
WHITE CROP TOP: Size S — I’m obsessed with these halter tank tops from Amazon. They go with everything and I cannot recommend them enough! I have them in 4 colors and love the material and fit (true to size).
Pair the rest of your outfit with light wash shorts and your fave sneakers! My shorts here are from Target but are no longer available. However, I love my platform Converse as they also go with everything!

2. WHITE BLAZER — OUTFIT DETAILS:
BLAZER: Size S — I’m in love with this white blazer from Forever 21! It fits true to size and is lightweight, making it perfect for spring weather!
PURPLE TOP: Size 4 — This lilac colored bra top is part of a two-piece set from Princess Polly. I bought the trousers set in a size 4 (I’m usually a size 2, so I sized up.)
JEAN SHORTS: Size S — My cut-off jean shorts are from Shop Priceless are a great affordable piece to have! They have a darker wash as well. They fit true to size.
3. LEATHER BLAZER — OUTFIT DETAILS:

LEATHER BLAZER: Size XS/S — This black faux leather blazer is my new favorite from Princess Polly and is a closet staple this winter. I stuck to my normal size within the size small range. If in between sizes, size down.
90’S LIGHT WASH STRAIGHT JEANS: Size 25S — These straight jeans from Abercrombie are my absolute favorite pair of jeans, I love the casual look. They’re also so flattering. I’m normally a size 26, but I sized down to a 25 and they fit perfectly.
DARK WASH ANKLE JEANS: Size 26 — These straight ankle jeans from A&F are my other favorite pair of jeans that you’ll probably find me wearing allll the time. These are the most flattering jeans I’ve ever owned, and they go with almost anything!
